Day 43

Catchy songs. That is a big issue in the world. Listen to them once and you’ll be listening to the same song over and over again until you can’t take the song anymore. Not that the song is bad, you just find yourself singing that song when you’re not supposed to. On the way to classes, during classes, really any time of the day. There are so many songs with a catchy tune these days. Sometimes it’s hard not to like them. They’re just so upbeat and easy to remember.

The main problem is that with these catchy songs, they play a lot on the radio. When I say “a lot” I mean, every 20 minutes, the same song will play. Everyday, 7 days of the week, there’s always the same song. At first it’s okay. Jamming out to the songs. It’s pretty fun, but then it gets to the point when you know every single word, chord, note, and harmony to every part of the song. Some people may enjoy it, but we’ve all been through that time in life when you listen to something for too long, it gets really boring. The appeal to whatever you were doing has gone away.
